Thanks to everyone here, my video looks good and I get my project to menu and burn ok but the text on the menu isn't as sharp as it seems like it should be. We watch a lot of hd tv so we're used to a very clear picture but still, (at the risk of asking a stupid question) is there anything to make the menu clearer on my mydvd movie? I'm outputting to iso and using Creator Classic to burn the disk.

Also, is there a better way to import the video from my minidv camcorder than using the Roxio Capture Video option? I'm obviously trying to lose nothing in the transfer from the original tape to my finished menu'ed dvd. It seems like it should be impossible to lose quality since it's all digital but alas, I am learning that's not the case.

Thanks!

Capturing, as a DV-AVI file, via firewire is as lossless as it gets. If you capture via a USB cable, you will lose quality.
