Are you using Label Creator or the Express Labeler?

You can access the full Label Creator by clicking on Start > All Programs > Roxio Creator 2009 Ultimate > Applications > Label Creator. The full version is more robust and may give you better results; however, if you want to use the Express Labeler, give some more details as to the steps you are taking to get the reversed text.

Steve, shamrock838 said the display shows it reversed.
Shamrock838, did you actually try to print a label to see if it comes out reversed? It certainly is an odd situation.

Hmmm -- you mentioned Roxio Creator 2009 Ultimate. The Roxio version I have came bundled with my Dell Vostro 420 desktop and may be a less-featured (stripped down?) program than 2009 Ultimate. The desktop icon says "Roxio Creator DE." Is there a remote chance that Roxio CD labels only print out correctly in the more expensive version (Ultimate)? I would hope not. BTW, when I go into creating a CD label, I do get a screen that says I'm using Express Labeler v3. Significant?
Please see my replies to other thread respondents.
Thanks,

I checked out these links -- the first was a dead link and the others didn't really address the specifics of my problem, except that the printer I used to print Roxio CD labels is an HP Photosmart C4480 All-in-One Printer/Scanner (color and B&W). I also have a Brother HL-5140 B&W laser printer. Both printers have been optimized to work with Vista Business. I tried printing to both printers and got the same reversed text results. Curiously, the screen displays appear quite normal.

Roxio Creator DE is, as I recall, a stripped-down version of Easy Media Creator 9 or 10, one or two versions behind Creator 2009. It's a DELL OEM version and Dell have undertaken to provide support for it. That's not to say that we volunteers here on the user board won't help you - we'll do our best - just that the Roxio support operators will refer you to Dell for support. I think you'll have only the Express Labeller in your version. Many things are cut out by Dell in their OEM versions, but I've not heard of reversing print in the Express Labeller.
Sknis' first link is active and accurate. Perhaps that forum was down when you tried it. It's a link to the suggestafix.com forum, and the topic deals with a poster whose HP Officejet is printing everything backwards. It's worth a look, although it is particular to the HP, and you've now said that your Brother reverses the label print too.
Do both printers print things other than labels the right way around?

In any event, have you checked in your HP printer settings that "Mirrored" is unchecked? I googled around and apparently this can be set to checked without the user knowing sometimes. Ctrl + P to bring up your printer settings and then click on "Properties" in the HP the Mirror setting should be under the "Layout" tab. There should be a similar setting for the Brother.
Let us know if you try that and have any luck.

No mistake – he posted it in the wrong forum and someone moved it only after the correct info was dragged out of him...
