I installed EMC7 on to my new Vista computer. Videowave 7 works fine, but when I get set to edit video I find I cannot access the Timeline. Why? What to do? TIA.

I'm surprised it installed. Easy Media Crator 9 is the first version that is Vista compatable, Sorry, time to update. Current version is Creator 2009.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

EMC 7 is several versions old and will not work with Vista, may not work with XP if you have installed IE7 or IE8 or with WMP 11.

I have EMC 7.5 and PARTS of it work on my Vista Home Premium.
VideoWave works and the timeline feature works, but you can't put it on a menu in DVD Builder.
However, there just might be enough difference between 7 and 7.5 that the timeline won't work.
