I have just purchased a new HP computer with Vista  (64-bit)  Home Premium with Cyberlink DVD Suite Deluxe.  I want to get the Roxio Creator 2009 Ultimate for this machine, but I don't know if there will be compatibility issues with the program.  I am hesitant to plunk down $100 plus and not be able to use the program.  Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks!!

I can't find that product on the Cyberlink page.  Where did you get it?  Did it come on your computer?  If so it may be the OEM version. OEM=Original Equipment Manufacture  = limited version.

No,  it should not conflict.  If it is an OEM version, just get rid of it.  However many people have more than one video editing program on their computer.

BTW, here is something you should read.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Hi
I have installed Nero, Cyberlink and ROXIO in my computer, there is no conflict among the softwares, how ever the project format differs. But all the softwares work fine.

Cheers

Cyberlink shouldn't conflict with Creator 2009.

But, if you don't use it, just uninstall it.
