This looks like a great product. Can I use it to record cool moves and tricks in a video game? I have a game console that (apparently) sends regular analog signal to an ordinary TV. Can I send the signal to the computer instead?

The hardware accepts RCA and S-video inputs.

This probably isn't the ideal scenario for this product - the preview window wouldn't be adequate to play a video game from.

You could put a splitter on the cable - go from the game console to the splitter. One end of the splitter would go to the adapter for the computer, and one would go to the TV.
