Hello:
I downloaded the 10.1 patch available at the site. However, when I tried to run the patch, it said that the file was damaged.
I tried to manually extract the files in the EXE file using WinZip. But Winzip complained that one of the files failed the CRC Check.
Has anybody encountered this problem?

Then that means the file did not download correctly and is incomplete. You'll need to download it again.

When you are downloading, turn off your antivirus software.
Life is good!
