I have used Roxio for creating and burning audio CD's for long time and it has worked great.  I never tried DVD builder until just recently and have the following problem.

When I add an item (wmv file) the program is not adding any buttons to the menu.  I have reinstalled the software, but the problem still presists.

My operating system is Windows XP. I am using Roxio DVD Builder version 7.5.3.51 (ENJ)I am  also using I.E. version 7.0.

Any suggestions?

IE 7 [and WMP 11] make changes to the operating system which breaks EMC 7, especially DVD Builder and Videowave.

The only way to get EMC 7 working again is to uninstall IE 7 and roll it back to v6.

There is a post pinned to the top of this forum section that explains how to revert back to IE 6.
