Hello,

I have a problem when I want to activate my software.

I want to convert some video files:
Roxio Creator 9 Home > Video > Convert video files (I use a french version, sorry if it's not exactly the words)

Anyway, a window pops up "You must activate your product to use this feature"
I click on ok "connecting..." and "invalid product key".

How can I fix this problem??

Thanks for your help,

Mumble

PS: And it's an original version not a cracked one, I bought it in store some years ago. I updated it; I'm using the version 9.1.

OS: Windows XP SP3

Edit: I just noticed that for every features it asks activation, so I can't use my software. I haven't got this problem before... it may be cause of roxio servers?

Try this first.

If that doesn't work, try this.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

PC  Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Velocity Micro ProMagix ©HD 60; evga x58 motherboard, Intel i7 @2.93, 12G RAM, EVGA Nvidia 560TI superclocked video card, SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme audio card, Buffalo external blu-ray burner; Creator 2012. PhotoShow 6, VHS to DVD 3Plus.

Laptop - Windows 7 Home
Dell XPS 1645, Intel I7 1,6G with overdrive ,4G RAM, 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730, Sound Blaster X-Fi MB Panzer, 500G hard drive.

Apple =OSX 10.5
MacBook Pro; 15.4-inch widescreen display, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB memory, 200GB hard drive, 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW), NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB of GDDR3 memory.  ILife 08, Toast 10, Final Cut Express 4 and Photoshop 4.

Thanks for your help but nothing works.

I don't have Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 but Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 so the first option failed.
And the second too, because I can't choose the offline activation and my cd key only has 17 digit product key. ie: XX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

Other suggestions?

Thanks.

the activation key does not use your Product key number.  It uses a number that you get from activateme.com link, because no one, who has posted here, got the orange key to punch in, at the activate me site.

It is a bogus Roxio operation that has not worked for 2 years.  Your only chance to get up and running, is a clean install.

Life is good!
