Roxio Creator V9" is the name of the OEM [Original Equipment Mfgr] Version that comes with some computers or burners. It is neither Creator 2009 nor Easy Media Creator 9, but rather a limited variation of EMC 9. There are no updates for it form Roxio. Any support would come from the OEM supplier.

If you KNOW this is a download of a full Version, please see sknis' question regarding WHICH Version if Brendon's info doesn't fix the problem.

Dear Lyn,

You're quite wrong again. I doubt that you've ever installed and run Easy Media Creator 9, and if you haven't then you shouldn't be talking about something you have no experience with. If you have, then you should look at what is on your screen before going off half-cocked.

Here are the "about" displays for EMC 9; EMC 9.1; and EMC 9 Deluxe:

If you will look, you will see that each of them calls the product Roxio Creator 9, which is what the OP says he has.

Now will you please go away and stop interfering with other people's topics to post incorrect information?
If you don't have personal experience with the software and can't offer some on-topic assistance, please stay out of it.

The OP says
QUOTE (FrankM316 @ May 25 2009, 05:22 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I have a registered D/L'd copy of Roxio Creator 9 with a valid serial number, but have no program disk.

which many times is also what people call
- Roxio Creator 9 XE [Mad Dog Burner OEM Version]
- Roxio Creator 9 DE [Dell Computer OEM Version]
- Roxio Creator 9 LE [another Dell Computer OEM Version]

Often those who have such OEM Versions don't realize they have the Full Version, and advice given on the basis of said full Version leaves them baffled.

Despite your attitude problem, it is useful to find out exactly what is being talked about before giving an answer.  The OP says ihave no program disk. which can mean either
- "I downloaded it and didn't make a backup" (which is your assumption) OR
- "it came pre-installed and I don't have a disc for it" (which has often turned out to be the case"

Maybe you need an attitude check.

Lyn,

A user won't have a serial number for OEM versions [post #3]
Easy Media Creator 9 [EMC9] _IS_ Roxio Creator 9
You don't have personal experience with the suite
You are very wrong
You are not prepared to accept that, despite the pictorial proof above.

I've split this off so you can carry on arguing in your own topic, and don't scare off another poster who wants assistance.
