Its been a few days now and I am having the same exact issues with my update program also. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall only to find I am having the same problem. the only way to stop the the auto update temporarily is to do it manualy in the task manager. However it is only a temp fix. Oh how annoying this is! I cant seem to get the help I need to stop it.    Some one ...Any one....Please help fix our problem!!
