I don't quite understand what you are asking. Do you want to take the actual project file (such as the dmsm Videowave project file) and print it out? Some of these project files are in an XML format and cab e viewed with an XML editor.
Can you give an example of the program project file you are talking about, ie for which program from the suite.

Perhaps the OP is talking about something like "Disc Gallery" that cataqlogs the files on a disc. I don't remember if it was available in EMC 9 and most certainly it was probably not available in the limited Dell Editon (DE). Hopefully TOM will come back and tell us what the he is looking for.

No. The only software I have is Roxio Easy Media Creator 9. After I create a data DVD, I save the project in case I need another copy. The default project file extension is .roxio and I'm wondering if there are any utilities that would convert the .roxio file to text for printing. The software has a label printing feature but this isn't an option since there are somewhere around 1,500 files on the DVD.

Thanks!

Thr program you are using does not create project files that can be printed.
If you were to use Creator Classic to make your data DVD and then save the project file you can look at the file (it has the extension .rcl) with a text editor.

The best method though is to get some Windows utility that will print out the DVD directory (that is basically what you want to do, I think)

Talked to someone that suggested an "old school" method that worked. I fired up the command prompt and changed the drive letter then typed in the command DIR *.* >filelist.txt and it worked. It's the old DOS command for directory and instead of the results being displayed on the screen, it's "piped" to a file using the ">" character. Gives all the details of the files but that can easily be edited out to produce a plain list of the file list.

Thanks for all the replies folks!

Google it, there are several free utilities to do that. Why it isn’t built into Windows is anybodies guess…
