After I have burned data to a DVD, how do I go back, sometimes weeks later, and add data to it?
Thanks,

It would help if you told us what program from what Roxio suite you are using.

To add a data to disc, you have to use the "session" writing method, that is you have clear the "read only" option each time you write data until the last time when the disc will be closed.
If you created a "Read Only" disc the first time you cannot add any more data.

There are some other options but without knowing what program you have, it is useless to mention them

That does help some…

I would guess you are using Data Disc and not Creator Classic. Looks like this?

Data___Data_Disc___DVD_Movie.jpg

Note the Options in the lower right corner. Click that and set it to Track at Once, Open. Then under Advanced set it to Automatically load appendable discs. If you are using DVD’s there is a separate setting for leaving it open.

But honestly I would recommend Creator Classic for this. Notice it is an option in the above picture and is directly accessible through the Start menu tree.

In Classic look at the Help files and you will see it is spelled out pretty well!

Get a disc or 2 of RW media (reusable) and play with them until you comfortable with session writing.

Thanks so much Jim! I have Creator Classic. I will follow your instructions and get back to you. Thanks again
