I have Roxio Creator 9 Home software with following version....
Version: 9.0.088
Build: 900B88I, R03
This is the same serial number that I see on "My Account" page where I have registered the product.
I downloaded 9.1 update from Roxio site. When the updater runs, it automatically detects a serial number of the product which is different than what I have in the installed product. Also when the updater runs, it first uninstalls the current installed version and then it fails saying I have the wrong key. How do I get around it?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,
What Operating Sysytem are you using, and what is the full filename of the updater file you downloaded?
If you have the right download but still can't install it, you might be better off forgetting the update. As the download page says,

This Easy Media Creator 9.1 update does not offer any new features except for Windows Vista Certification. While the update will work with Windows XP and Windows 2000, it is not a mandatory update.
