Does not launch with windows vista on my laptop Roxio Easy Cd Creator 10 with Windows Vista

I am running windows vista 64 with 4gb ram on my HP Dv5 laptop. Roxio CD creator 10 will not load or run. The Roxio main screen shows and then it freezes. It will not shut down nor can the computer be shut down. I have to force a shutdown with the power key. If anyone has any ideas about why and what I can do. I really would like to hear them.

For retail versions of EMC 10 try this:

The the instructions carefully.



If the above update doesn't work and you have a retail version of EMC 10 then you might want to try a clean install.
