Hi Gang

I burned an image file from a DVD (one I made myself in iDVD). There's nothing wrong with the DVD, it plays just fine. It has a simple menu, one chapter
that you simply click on.

How/Where/What option do I select to burn a DVD from the image file?

I tried 'DVD Video', but some of the files are unrecognized/unsupported.

I was able to burn a disc using VTS_01 data, but the simple menu that I created in iDVD was not retained. Instead I wound up with an auto-play DVD. I also tried mounting  the disc image through Utilities, then dragging the disc into Toast.  Same result; ' unrecognized/unsupported' files. The disc is created without the simple menu.

With Nero, I'm able to copy an entire DVD to an image file, then simply create a clone DVD from the image file.

How do I get Toast to replicate/burn the image in it's entirety to disc? (including the simple menu)

Any ideas?  huh.gif

Thanx

Mike

Use the Image File setting in the Toast Copy window.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
