Greetings:
I am trying to use LP and Tape assistant to capture from a sound card and having issues because the "Capture From" drop down box will only show the integrated HP webcam and not the actual sound card (Real Tek)...so I am stuck having to use the external monitor microphone to pick up any sound coming from my speakers...and as you probably could guess the sound really stinks. I am hoping that someone can give me advice to make my actual sound card appear in the "Capture From" drop down box. I am using Windows 64bit Vista (brand new PC and install) and am really not liking Roxio too much right now. Previously, I used to own another machine (Windows XP) with Roxio 9, and was able to easily select my sound card from the "Capture From" drop down box. Perhaps there is a thread already speaking to this issue, if you have it please let me know.
Please help oh Roxio gurus, I pray at the feet of the sound gods for help please!!!!

Please feel free to reply here or send me an email at (david.jordan@gmail.com). Thank you in advance for your help. rolleyes.gif

When you look at those steps make sure that Line-in on your sound card is enabled because that's what you should connect to.
"Do you wanna see me crawl across the floor to you?
Do you wanna hear me beg you to take me back?
I'd gladly do it because....."
