No upgrade is available but if you bought Creator 2009 via the on-line store, you have 30 days to return it to get your money back and then buy the Ultimate.  Contact sales.

What are you looking for in the Ultimate?

I'm having the same buyers remorse as you.  I contacted sales about this and will post what they recommend.

They should make this "natural" up-class easy to do.  They might be surprised at the number of people who would do this.

You can’t come back and Super Size your fries after you leave the counter at McDonnalds, what makes you think you can here???

It is a bundle inducement offered at a discount price but only at the time you buy. Wow, never heard of that before, 'Buy the Deluxe Set and you also get...'

Others would contend it costs too much because it has 2 items in it and they only want 1 of them!  laugh.gif

I guess if you accept the fries analogy, then I agree with you.  But I respectfully disagree with that premise when one talks about software and packaging.  If I was the owner of a store and a customer wanted to buy additional capability for additional money, I will take their money and happily provide the additional product.  I want their money, and they want my product.  It really doesn't matter that they made a mistake in what they thought they needed at first.  Both parties end up happy.

These days you can't buy a computer without a dozen packages pre-installed.  Most of us don't want them, but many others will pay to buy a bigger or un-crippled version of the product if they like it.

In my case, I've been using the video product for many years.  I upgraded to 2009, but in my haste I didn't see the value in the other pieces of the Ultimate version.  As I read more, especially in here, and much credit goes to you and your cohorts, I wanted the Ultimate product.

So, I asked the question on if and how you could do it.  If permitted, I get more capability and Roxio/Sonic gets more money.  It should be a win-win.

Don’t like fries  laugh.gif ? Buy a car, then go back to your Dealer a month later (and they are desperate now) and ask them to upgrade it to the Deluxe version, cheaply… How will that work out for you?

Yes if you are running the company you can do it any way You want to. Until then…

Love fries, hate cars!  Everytime I buy a car they spend hours trying to sell me upgrades or add-ons I don't want!

Car Dealers here have added milking to the Service Department called courtesy inspection…

7 year old car – your belts are showing dry rot – your brake fluid is dark – brake pads are getting low (I just replaced them before I took it in) – transmission fluid is discolored

Now each item is +$100 and have shown up on every visit for the last 3 years… You would think if it was ready to blow…
