Not trying anything complex  - have used EMC 9 & 10 and particularly recently 10 with DVDExpress with not problems.

Now using 2009 Creator and use same media discs, same settings, same burn speed. However, burned DVD's under 2009 will play only on the PC (using cineplayer,WMP) but not on Dvdplayer to TV. Previous DVD's burnt under EMC 10 still play fine on both PC & DVD player.

Am running Vista 32 home premium (same as under EMC10,9).

DvdExpress settings:
aspect 4:3
standard PAL
Fit to disc
interlaced

All defaults

Have tried 3 different vids - all worked and burnt OK under previous EMC vsn's - still no play on DVDplayer.

I'm stuck for what to do next. Any help/advice appreciated.

What type of media are you using? What program under Creator 2009 are you using?  Is it MyDVD Express ?

Have you installed Creator 2009 SP4?

Don't use DVDExpress.  Use the full version MyDVD, and dump the Fit to Disc setting.  Use High Quality (HQ), burn to a Folder Set, and burn your production to disc using Video Copy and Convert.

I'll try that  - but doesn't explain why 2009 won't do clean burn & play like EMC 9 & 10 - also , liked the simplicity of DVDexpress and quality was OK & always worked undr previous Vsn's of EMC

Any other suggestions appreciated.
