Hi all,
I've had the cutdown verison of Roxie Easy Media 7.0 that came with my CD\ Dvd burner for several years, and it worked fine. But due to recent upgrades in XP and IE it won't burn DVD's. I've purchased Easy Media Suite 10, because it was supposed to work with the XP platform.
However, in Complie Movies it starts to encode a project then shows an " 0x8004005" and stops. I can burn Data Disk that appear Ok!
I don't if this relates to the problem, but the CinePlayer, also doesn't work, with the message "insufficient video resources".

Perhaps someone else has a work around for this to get EM10 working?

Try a clean install:
Clean Install Instructions of Creator 9 and 10 on Windows XP
Then after the install is complete apply this update:
http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/emc10/software_updates.html
Your PC is fairly old and probably has a graphics processor that can't handle video.
