I do not know if I am in the right place or not, but, as I download a lot of programs with mp3 formats I purchased Roxio's easy cd & dvd burning software. Forget about DVD files for now as that is an entire different problem for now. My immediate problem is that 99 % of what I download are in mp3 formats and I am unable to play them back on my hand held cd players, stereo system cd players, car cd players etc and I would like to know what I am doing wrong and how do I go about fixing the problem. Thanx in advance

I have no idea what you are doing wrong since all you have said is that you download mp3's (from where ?) and you are unable to play them. Or do you mean "burn to CD" when you say you "download"?
Please supply some information on what you are doing.
