Videos to CDs to PCs

I cannot figure out how to move a video from Quicktime to a CD and a PC. I've tried AVI and MOV formats from QuickTime. The video is in iPhoto from my digital camera. Is THAT the problem?

If you just want to copy the video to a CD so you can copy it from the CD to the PC then what you want is to make a Data disc. Choose the Data window and choose Mac & PC as the format. Click New disc and name your disc, then add the video file and burn the disc.
