Using: Windows  XP Pro Service pack 3, 1.5 Gb memory
Tyan Tiger dual processor.

EZ CD creator Classic, because it has drag and drop without having to open other software.
Plexor writer CD burner works, but Sony DVD DRU 820 A does not. Firmware is most current.

Sony diagnostics says the drive and media is ok!

When burning data DVD every thing seems to go ok, until verification.

Verification stops at mounting disk and stops  {Error disk will not mount} (Windows Auto start search flashlight pops up and usually will just shut down using the x option but not always).
At times it gets beyond this point but stays at first or second file verification and just stays there.

When trying other options, other than default, such as ISO etc.  my computer completely locks up requiring a complete shut down. Ctl + Alt + Delete does not work as every thing is locked up.  Alternitive input through Wacom monitor does not work either as it is also locked up.

All drivers are current and uninstall and reinstall of Creator 10 does not help.

It appears that the burning did work with out verification (one time it did not).

Can any one help?

What actual Roxio suite are you using, please? [name and version number]

Your post is presently in the "Easy CD Creator 4 and 5" forum, but I'm sure I saw it somewhere else, earlier in the day.
P4 @3.20GHz on Albatron PX-865PE Pro II with 2GB DDR-SDRAM, FX5900XT video, Viewsonic monitors,

I blame it all on Global Warming / Global Cooling / Global Staying the Same  [pick one]

Thank you very much, Dumfounded.

I'm not sure how you landed in the Version 4 and 5 forum, but I'll have your topic moved upstairs to the EMC 10 forum where those people who read it might be able to help you.

Easy Media Creator 10 ver. 10.1.226 (Build : 112B62A, R03) does not have a drag and drop application...

Could you be using XP's built in burning application?

Easy Creator Classic window has top and bottom panes and a person an drag from the top window to the bottom.

I can't seem to insert a screen capture, when I click on insert image it keeps asking for URL .
I do not know what to do next (cut and paste doesn't seem to work).
