I created a data disc for a friend using the open method (80 min CD). I would now like to close it, but can't find any help for the subject. Can someone please tell me how, or if I can do this?

Thanks.

It really doesn’t have to be closed but if you like Creator Classic.

Put the disc in – start Classic – look under the Tools menu.

I tried using Creator Classic, but on any dialog window that opens (i.e. Tools> Options), all the buttons are blank. Some of the boxes are filled, but usually grayed out. I much prefer the classic application, but I can't use it because of this problem. A cure for this would sure be appreciated. However, back to the original problem - when I click on tools, there is no option to close the disc. As far as I can tell, even in the help files for Data Disc, it tells how to add files to an appendable disc, but not how to close it when you've filled the disc. It almost looks like you must decide before you start recording whether you want a closed or appendable disc. I'm pretty sure I remember from version 7, that you could close a disc after a second or third time of adding (recording new) files.

I'm at my wits end here, I'm tempted to ditch this version and go back to 7. It was so much more user friendly IMHO.
