In Storyline view, insert a colored panel with duration slightly longer than duration of your video clip. Switch to Timeline and insert the video clip as an overlay to that colored panel. With the overlay selected, click the "More Settings" icon on top of the Preview screen. Choose the middle tab . There is a slider for Rotation

I, too, am in need of assistance with this issue - and I thank you for posting your tip. But, could you expand on the "insert the video clip as an overlay" step? When I choose Add Overlay from the menu, I get a predefined palette; No obvious way to select my video clip. Thanks in advance!

Don't use "Add Overlay" from the menu. Select the you video clip from the media selector and drag it to the overlay track.

Yeah, too bad, I was looking for an excuse to upgrade to 2010. I use helmet cams a lot and I frequently have to mount them upside-down. There definitely should be a simpler way to do this.
This was one of my main concerns, was ease of rotating clips...

I have not been able to find a way to rotate video in Roxio Creator 2010. I am running Windows 7 and bought Roxio again because it stopped working on my XP machine. Is there any way to rotate video with this version of Roxio?
Thanks
