Roxio Creator 10.2 Dell Edition will come with the computer I recently ordered from Dell.  In reading other posts, it seems that this is a very light and disappointing version of Creator.  I have a large library of vinyl LPs which I plan to convert to MP3s and CDs.  Will this version facilitate this conversion?  Will it allow me to name tracks on the CD, put break points on the CD between songs, and reduce or eliminate scratches and crackles?  If not, what is the least expensive upgrade for this version which will give me these options?

Go here http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=48492  this is what you are getting. It does not appear to have what you need for converting your LP's.

Check with Dell to see what they have to offer for a upgrade (you could also verify that what you ordered does indeed NOT have the features you want), You could also check Dell's forum http://en.community.dell.com/?nav=true

The full Roxio retail version will do what you need (not the greatest on scratch and crackle elimination, but for the price its pretty good), You could shop around the internet for prices on EMC 10 or the latest Creator 2009.
