Hi,
I just captured some of VHS using my Usb Capture Device, I have EMC10 now I have some editing questions.
1: The video is a compilation of several segments shot w/ a camcorder on 1 tape. I opend it in VW, How do I take out segments of video within the production, ie those long blank spots when the camera was turned on and off between video clips? I tried trim but it only lets me take from the beginning or the end of the production.
2: Is there a way I clean up some of the audio buzz, from a crappy mic on the camcorder?
Any Help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
DD

There are several ways to remove segments from a video. Some of the methods are described in the pinned posts in the various "How To" forums for the different EMC versions.
The method I normally use is to first switch to the timeline. Then move the video track cursor to the start of the segment you want to delete. You can fine-tune to the exact frame. THen click the "split" icon. Now move the cursor to the end of the segment to be deleted and create another split point. Now select the segment between the two split points and click the red X to delete the segment.
