Whenever I make a copy of a playable cd it will not play in anything but my computer.  How do I make a copy(of a spanish lesson) that will play in any of my cd players?

It is possible that the discs are DRM protected to allow you to rip them to your computer to use but do not allow you to make a playable copy.  Check the small print.  Actually that is sort of unlikely.

How are you copying the CD?  What application?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I am using Roxio EMC 9 because it was packaged with my laptop.  These discs are not DRM protected because I can copy them just fine with Nero and other programs.  Just can't figure out how to make Roxio make a playable copy.

Roxio EMC 9 does not tell us what program from the suite you are using to copy. What application from EMC 9 are you using?
