when burnning a cd I get only about %90 burned and then I get an error. Sometimes I do get lucky and it completes the cd. any idea what is causing my problem. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but that didn't help. I also tried that with the drivers as well, and that didn't help either.

You have posted in the Easy CD and DVD Burning (in Red Box) "Vista Compatible" forum, yet in the Topic Title you say you have roxio creator premier sd10.2 (which is a Dell OEM version).
Please clarify which program you have.
