Creating Scenes from video

I converted my wedding video from DVD to a Divx format and saved it for editing. I then opened Videowave to start editing but it is one continuos video. I would like it to be broken up into many scenes so I can pick and choose.
I did notice this is possible using the Cinemagic but the problem with this is that it only pulls about half of the selected scenes I choose to create a movie, I need the all of them so I can pick myself. Please help.

I see that this is almost 2 weeks old but perhaps the OP might still be watching.

Watch this short video.. Play with the sensitivity in the auto detect to get close to what you want or simply do a manual detect.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
