I have used Plug and Burn before on this computer with blank DVD+R, DVD-R and RW DVD's with no problem. But now the program says that the blank DVD is incompatible.
When I put a regular pre-recorded DVD in the player it plays just fine, so I don't understand why my blanks are not being recognized.
I tried uninstalling the hardware software and rebooting, the computer to no effect. Windows tells me that my hardware software is up to date, which makes me think this must be a Roxio problem.
I am in the process of updating the EMC10 software (got another 2 hours for the download to finish) and am hoping that that fixes the problem
Anyone got any alternate ideas as to why this could be occuring?

Perhaps the brand you are using? Memorex / Store brand typically get poor reviews here.
Also, maybe just a bad batch of an otherwise decent brand? Happened to me with Sony DVD-Rs.
