After I've saved a slideshow, I often cannot re-open it to work on later. The problem is, when I go to the file location on my computer where it has been saved, I cannot change the 'type of file' pull down to anything that shows my slideshow that I've saved. Naturally, it does not look like it is there. How do I get back to my slideshow? It's very frustrating.

What program, in the suite, are you using? You should be using VideoWave (Edit Video-Advanced), and it is quite easy to open a file that you have worked on. You just click on File/Open, and browse to where you saved the file. It will have a .dmsm file extension.
Also, your last 4 productions will show up, when you click on File, and you can just click on the one you want, if it is in that list. The File/Open isn't necessary, in that case.
Life is good!

Yes of course. You just have to "open" the previouslu saved dmsm project file. That is the whole idea of using a editor
