Trying to copy a DVD, but the import window in 'media creator 9' shows the chapters on the disc just fine. Thing is, there's in image of a lock that's 'locked'. I'm guessing I can't copy what's on the disc??

You are correct, because it is illegal to copy commercial movies, or other copy protected discs.
