How about some details to work with. Such as system specs, which of the 30+ apps in the Creator 2009 suite you are using, what settings, steps you are taking, what type of disc, .....

The more info the better.

Do you have more than 1 CD/DVD drive?

Also, check to see if your PC is at the latest bios level and that your CD/DVD drive firmware is up-to-date.

What is the make and model of your PC? When you first power on, you should be able to spot a bios level early. It might be something like 3.1 or 5.05. You can then check the manufacturer's site to see if you have the latest bios level.

When you launch Creator 2009 home application, click on get disk information and it should show you the firmware level for the drive that you have selected. You can check this level against the manufacturer's site to see if you have the latest.

When you go to burn, be sure you have the media in the correct drive.
