Background: I was doing a partial back-up of my pictures folder using Roxio 9 for Mac which goes over 21 DL discs. I had my discs ready (or so I thought) and completed 20 of them. I didn't realize my last disc was a different format (RW, not +R, like the previous 20), so it wouldn't take it. As no local stores carry the discs I used, I was fully planning on letting my computer sit and wait for more discs to arrive from Amazon to complete. Of course, in the mean time, on of my external drives caused an error forcing me to reboot.

Issue: I was almost complete with the 21 disc back up and now I have one disc left. I have the backup profile saved. I tried writing a disc image, but it just created one huge file rather than 21 individual ones. Worst case scenario, I could just do a backup of the remaining data, but is there a better way to just get the 21st disc done?

I don't have Toast 9 and this post does not attempt to reply to your issue. It just caught my attention that you are trying to back-up at least 170 GB of data spanning 21 DL discs. Personally, that is a scary thing to do if ever one of the discs fails to reload. Just a matter of preference but I would back-up the image file on an external hard drive. smile.gif

No worries. I have it backed up on a hard drive as well as online.

There isn't a way to do just the 21st disc. You will need to create a new Toast project that just has the content that wasn't included with the other 20 discs. You can use DiscCatalogMaker RE to create a directory of what's on the 20 discs so it's easier to see what was left to back up to the 21st one.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

That'll work. It would be great if there was a feature to only do specific discs of a multi-span (like choosing which pages you want to print) for situations like this, but I guess that they probably don't come up very often.

Thanks for your help.
