I bought a copy of Popcorn 2 recently and set about re-encoding a DL DVD down to standard MP4 streams.
About 36 hours into the encoding run, Popcorn 2 crashed. I was surprised that it took so long to get as far as it did -- pass 4 or 5, I believe -- as I was running on a fairly loaded dual proc G5. Doesn't seem any faster on my macbook pro, either.
Are there known good high quality settings that folks have had success with?
