Maximum "Record" Length

Does anyone know what the maximum record length is for a wav file?
I have been unable to record a program that is in excess of 3 hours even though I have 105 available hours on the drive I am using.

The WAV format is limited to files that are less than 4 GB in size, because of its use of a 32-bit unsigned integer to record the file size header (some programs limit the file size to 2–4 GB)

Thank you Brendon for replying to my question. What about the other formats? What if I chose to record the program as a MP3 would this allow me to record for a longer time?

You should be able to record to mp3 format to any time length as long as you have enough hard drive space and the hard drive is NTFS format to allow files greater then 4GB. I have had no problem recording Internet radio for up to 6 hours with no problem using the mp3 format.
From what source are you recording?

myguggi,
You hit the source spot on when you said you"had no problem recording Internet radio". That's what I was trying to do so I will definitely try using the mp3 format. Thanks again for replying and giving me the resolution I was looking for.

It'll be a long time before they tuck you up this early Walt.
And there's a lot of evening left today.
