Reinstalling Latest Version of EMC 10

I have a new Dell Optiplex 360 PC and want to re-install Easy Media Creator Suite 10.  I have the CD i purchased from buy.com, but I'm afraid to install this version because of all the problems it creates (eg. "NTLDR is missing" at startup, C++ runtime error, etc.) and want to avoid all the clean installs and register edits that ensued.  

What is the best procedure for re-installing EMC10 and get the latest, most stable verson on my PC?
