I recently updated my blackberry software which in turn updated my roxio programs since bb uses roxio to manage its media. After the update I no longer had the option of choosing easy audio capture in the audio tab! I tried doing a restore point with no success. I then deinstalled roxio and reinstalled from the installation disk provided with my dell lattitude laptop. Please help if you can!

Thanks,

Completely Frustrated!

Your Blackberry version uninstalled the good version of the software.  Go through the clean install, and THEN install the non-Blackberry version of your software, again.

Please also see this topic which deals with the BB updates uninstalling Easy CDand DVD Burning.

There is a method mentioned there where you can skip the use of the Roxio Media Manager with your Blackberry.

Thanks for the info. My media card was allready set up this way, but bb still insist on using roxio as the media manager?

We'll have to note that the BB Media Manager installer uninstalls EMC 9 [that's what you have, isn't it?] as well as Easy CD and DVD Creator.

If the BBMM is an option at install time, perhaps it will be used so long as it is installed. It might take an install of the BlackBerry software without choosing the Roxio part to keep that Roxio part out of your way.

Cheers,
Brendon
