I'm experiencing problems with a new MacPro when trying to burn discs with toast 9.0.5, varying from error -32030 "The connection is not stable" to actual kernel panics.
As far as i can tell, this is not a hardware issue, as I am able to burn from disc images using Disc Utility. Any ideas?
2.66 Ghz Quad Core MacPro, 3 GB RAM OS 10.5.7
cheers
Roger

Nobody?!
I can confirm that I can burn discs from disc images made with Toast on this machine if I use Disc Utility to do the burning, but Toast 9 fails every time with this -32030 error.
Apple wont touch it because they say it's a Toast issue - is there no-one from Roxio who'd like to reply?
cheers
Roger

I don't know what could be the reason for this problem. In these cases I can only suggest trashing the Toast plist and prefs files in the User>Library>Preferences folder. I think you'll need to submit a support ticket directly to Roxio.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
