I recently upgraded from VW 7.0 to EMC 8.0 and have the following problem.  If I import an existing MPEG-2 file and edit the file (duration, brightness, contrast and saturation) and then save the file as MPEG or DVD quality the file captures the video but no audio.  I also do not get audio during the adjust duration mode.  Is there a setting required in EMC 8 that is different from VW 7.0.  I reinstalled VW 7.0 and the capture included audio.

Thanks

I didn't intentionally bold anything -- must have happened during the posting.  I find that when I edit a MPEG-2 file, I don't record the sound but if I load an MPEG-1 one file, edit it and then save it a MPEG-2 it works fine.  This makes no sense to me and I will continue to study it.

Thanks for responding
