I have Windows Vista 64 bit and Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burn 9.0.554. I just updated the px engine to the most current. I am still getting the "no drive detected" message. Can someone please advise what to do next as I don't have a clue.
Thanks!

I'm running Windows Vista as well with Roxio 10.1 and had the same issue. Here's how I fixed mine (and I am so not a computer wiz)
1) If you haven't already, Log in as the hidden adminstrator of your PC. (Not sure why this makes a difference but it did..even though I'm the administrator on my own pc)
2) Download and SAVE this link to your desktop. (don't run it from the link) PX Engine 3.0 http://images.roxio.com/en/support/pxengine3_00_58a.zip
3) Unzip it from your desktop and run the install.
4) reboot
5) open Roxio
Hope it works for you like it worked for me

Thanks very much.....I had to delete and reinstall Roxio to get the 3.0 px engine in the software but it now recognizes the drive.
Thanks!

I believe that the software fails to recognize drives if the PX engine gets broken by anything, and it takes a reinstall of the PX engine to repair it.
Easy CD and DVD Creator normally has a version 3.4 engine.
Our problem is that the only installer we have is the 3.00 version, which installs an older version 3.0 PX engine.
The current updater we have will update the PX engine to version 4.1 [see here] but it doesn't repair a broken PX engine like the old installer does.
It's quite probable that you'll get the best result if you first repair with the old 3.00 installer, then update with the 4.1 updater. But I haven't been able to test this yet because I can't get my PX engine to break.
