Open Create DVD -Advanced.  Chose your settings and then click to add movie.  When the window opens, use the Windows command of CTRL-Enter to select the "movies" in the order you want them added.  You will get a prompt when you click the "Add" button button to add them as one movie or add as separate movies.

Once they are added, right click on the movie icon.  A selection window will open; select edit chapters.  Add them where you want them.

Ok....This is a question I've also had for several years now.  And guess what, you solution dosen't work.  I've tried it several times now.  It never prompts when I cleck add with any type of input question, and it lists the movies in alphabetical order in the list.

It does work, I have used it many times. Perhaps if you were to explain exactly what you are doing we might be able to help. Hijacking another OPs thread with a "Me too" is usually not a good idea since it just leads to a lot of confusion.

I 've been using this product since version 7.0.  I always create my show in videowave then insert them into MyDVD-Advanced.  I have tried to use your solution in the current version (2009) of selecting multiple slide shows using both the "insert" shortcut from the menu, as well as from the pull down menu.  It only inserts the shows individually and in alphbetical order (not the order I selected them in).  It appears that the only way to create a self playing moving is to do one large slideshow (my DVDs are usually of a complete season (baseball, basketball, football, et...) and usually include an introducton movie (1 to 2 min.) and five to six shows (3 to 7 min).  Createing one show with chapters is impossible.  I too use a variety of music (according to the them of the pictures or video I'm displaying).  Under 7.5 there was a video tutorial that showed how to combine multiple Videowave slide shows, that I used one time and it worked, but it was several months before I attempted it again and the tutorial was not longer available, and I had forgotten the details.

The shift click method does not combine the shows, nor does it list them in anything but alphabetical order using creator 2009 on a vista computer period.

Yes it does work but you missed a subtle point…

Walt specified “movies” and you are trying to add VW Projects!

OK, it really should do both that way, but it doesn’t  sad.gif

Projects get added (in order selected) as separate titles!

Movie Clips get add with a choice. You can choose to combine them into one Title or allow them as separate titles.

Control Click gives you more control with selection. You click the first one then Control Click each other one in the order you want them to appear.

You are doing this right, making VW Projects but to combine them you need to do one more step. Once you have everything right, use the Export As from VW to make each project a DVD Movie mpeg file.

Those are the ones you pick and add to MyDVD.

Do some very brief stub files as a test with RW discs…

Make something like game 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 in VW.

Export each then try them in MyDVD as I outlined.

Let us know how that works for you.
