Hello!  Newbie here....

I was able to capture output from my VCR successfully.  Now I have a 1:45min file I'd like to burn to a single DVD.  Problem is, the AVI that the capture created is over 10Gb.  How does one compress the AVI before burning it to a standard DVD?

You donít!

When you burn with MyDVD, it is an authoring program and it will put everything in proper format.

A 4.7GB DVD will hold about 1` hour of DVD Movie at High Quality. If you try to put more on, it will do so but it does it by sacrificing video quality for space.
