best burning format

I am having issues with birning dvd movies so it fills the screen on my 40 in LCD I have tried using 720i mpeg4 1080i mpeg4 I have roxio 10 and use xilisoft to convert sometimes using myexpress dvd dosent make the picture big enough I use DVD+R disks sony can anybody let me know what format will fill my screen.

Are you talking about letter box issues?  That is sometimes related to you TV settings.  We'll need more details.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
