Hi guys... I've purchased, what I thought was, Easy Media Creator Suite 10 off of e-bay,sealed , but without original box.... I was using a co-workers "Suite 10" and wanted my own. What I received was Roxio Creator 10 XE.
This version does not have the "audio edit" program where you can bring your music into a sort of "oscilloscope" looking graph and insert track breaks into your music.
Is my copy an early version? XE ? Is there other "suite 10's" out there... and what alphabet suffix' should I be looking for XL XD blah blah blah. Even "2009" does not have this audio option.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Conrad

I hope you got the XE cheap ($5 or so) because is was given away if you bought a Mad Dog burner (if I remember correctly). Yes, it is severely limited. There was also a DE edition that came with Dell computers. I think there were two other full versions. I don't remember if the best one as Ultimate or Deluxe.
That's 4 versions off the top of my head.
Creator 2009 has two full versions both of them have "Edit Audio" aka Sound Editor. They are on sale for the next couple of days. ignore that one wek left part. If you buy directly from Roxio you have a 30 day money back guarantee. If you do decised to buy, double check to make sure that money back offer applies to the sale.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

You bought a severely criplled/disabled program ...you got ripped off if you payed more then $5 just like sknis said. The full EMC 10 version was EMC 10 and EMC 10 Deluxe, any other "Xe", "De", "Se" or other alphabet combination is an OEM version which means its crippled.
I don't know where you get your information about Creator 2009 but its wrong. C200 9 has this audio option.
