No much information to work with
What format is the video you are trying to put on DVD? How did it get to your hard drive?
What does this mean: "it worked before but there wasn't enough space on cd"? You cannot make a CD into a DVD
Please give some details on exactly what you are doing, what program from C2009 you are using, etc. How long in time is the video you are trying to put on the DVD.

Every Computer has a picture on it!!!
Search for jpg and use any one of the hundreds that will show up.
If that works - your video source is bad.
If it doesn't work - Clean Install.

I down loaded a video through the usb adapter 2861,whitch went in to a file, open my DVD,slected the file with the video and tryed to burn it.The whole video played on the screen while burning ejected it when finished put it in a dvd player only to watch the first 15 to 20 seconds of the video over and over again, this went on for about a minute or so was all that was burned don't know what happened to the rest of the video .Like I said the hole video was being played while being burnt.Went back to try some thing else. selected MY DVD ,slected no menu, slected project settings extended play for dvd, back up to add new movie and it freeze

What format is the captured file, avi or mpeg? How long in time is the capture video? Have you played the video through Windows Media Player?
Dont' understand what this means "back up to add new movie"

I am not interested in file size, it means nothing when burning video DVDs. What is the time length of the video? The extension of you video file should be avi or mpg. A standard 4.7GB DVD will hold 60 minutes of video at best quality, any longer and the video must be compressed with loss of quality. Are you trying to add more then one movie to your DVD?
BTW, exactly what do you mean by "freeze up"? How long do you wait before you you stop the process?

Would be great is you look at and edit what you post. There are still things like periods and spaces. Post how you would talk; you are not being charged by the word ! Remember we are users and not tech support nor are we looking over your shoulder.
Did it install? Is anything different? Does it still freeze?
Did you remove VHS to DVD? Did you do a clean install of Creator 2009?
