My PC has died, I am considering moving to a Mac Mini. My Windows Easy VHS to DVD allows me to transfer LPs and/or Audio Cassettes to CD. This Toast 9 Basic thing that comes with the Mac version - what else can you do with it besides use it to burn your VHS movies to DVD?
Thanks in advance
Michael

Toast basic was designed to be used with VHS to DVD for MAC. I doubt that it has anything like Spin Doctor in it. I have the full Toast so if don't know about the basic.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

The Easy VHS to DVD for Mac does not have the audio only option of the PC version. The full (not basic) version of Toast comes with CD Spin Doctor that does what you're describing. You can connect the audio directly from a player to your Mac for digitizing, filtering and track separating with CD Spin Doctor.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
