DVD won't burn

Need some help here please.
I had no problem installing easy cd and dvd burning, but when I try to burn a disc from video files, no matter what size file it is it always gets an error message that the estimated project won' t fit on the disc.
I have tried all formats , fit to disc, ep, sp etc and always get the same result.
I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

File size means nothing, its the length of the video that is important. A standard 4.7GB DVD will hold 60 minutes of video at best quality.

How long in time is the video? What program are you using to burn the DVD? You have supplied very little information to work with
