Greetings.  I have Sonic DVDiT 6 that came with my Avid Xpress Pro HD 5.7 Academic.  When I export a quicktime file from my Avid 16:9 timeline (format 720p24p) Same As Source 1280x720 it looks and plays back fine in 16:9 on my desktop.  When I import it to DVDiT and then burn it with 16:9 Movie Attrributes, I get the appropriate image size on my 4x3 screen (it looks letterbox, but natural).

When I play that same disc on a portable DVD player that has a 16:9 screen, it still looks letterbox rather than filling the frame as my other 16:9 discs do.  same with a Toshiba TV that has a built in DVD player.  WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?? I've tried all the combinations of exporting & resizing 4:3, but that doesn;t seem to work.  Other commercial DVDs on those same players will fill the screen edge to edge.

IS THERE A SETTING ON DVDiT 6 THAT WILL ALLOW MW TO BURN A FULL RASTER 16:9 ON A 16:9 SET?

thank you
