I've been working on a 2 hour video project in Adobe's Premier Element 3.0 and would like to know if I switch to Roxio 10 can I somehow load Adobe's project into Roxio? I've been having problems with APE and would like to change to Roxio but I've put many hours of editing into my project and don't want to start from scratch with Roxio.

Thanks.

Yes but only the Video/Audio and only after you Export it into some common format, like mpg or AVI.

Just as Adobe cannot possibly read a Roxio dmsm file no other editing program can read a APE file.

Thanks, Jim. What do you mean only video/audio? Sorry if I'm not that knowledgeable about this. I've added titles and a couple of still photos to my video. The main portion of the video is video from my camcorder. I want to add narration but am having trouble with APE. If I render the project and save it as an AVI file will everything then be acceptable to Roxio to continue editing and adding narration and music?

I don’t have Adobe but you do, so why not try it???

A 5 minute test file is all you need.

Frankly it is best to settle on ONE package and stick with that. It is pretty rare that some other software has some feature that you really can’t live without
